Inside Golf Expands International Travel Coverage as Global Golf Tourism Demand Surges

Australia's leading golf and travel publication, Inside Golf Magazine, has significantly expanded its international travel coverage as growing numbers of overseas golf destinations seek to connect with Australia's affluent and travel-ready golfing audience.

As a proud member of both the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) and the Asian Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC), Inside Golf has experienced strong growth in partnerships with international golf tourism operators, golf resorts, destination marketing organisations and luxury hotels looking to attract Australian golfers.

The publication is now working with a growing portfolio of international clients and destinations including Vilamoura Portugal, India, Cambodia, Mauritius, Thailand, Vietnam, Fiji and New Zealand, with further expansion planned throughout 2026 and beyond.

To accommodate increasing demand from overseas partners, Inside Golf has expanded its dedicated travel section, providing more opportunities for international golf destinations to showcase their courses, resorts, golf holidays and tourism experiences to Australian travellers.

According to Inside Golf Publisher Sam Arthur, the timing couldn't be better.

"Australian golfers are travelling internationally in greater numbers than ever before, and many destinations are recognising the value of reaching our audience directly," Arthur said.

"Our readers are typically aged between 50 and 75, financially secure, passionate about golf and actively seeking their next travel experience. They represent one of the most desirable demographics in global golf tourism."

Arthur said that while golf remains the primary passion of the magazine's readership, travel has become one of the publication's fastest-growing content categories.

"Today's golfer is looking for much more than a great golf course. They want luxury accommodation, unique cultural experiences, outstanding dining, sightseeing opportunities and memorable travel experiences that can be enjoyed with family and friends."

"Whether it's a golf holiday in Portugal, a luxury resort in Vietnam, a golf and culture experience in India or a tropical escape in Fiji, our readers are actively researching destinations and planning future trips."

As international tourism continues its strong post-pandemic recovery, Inside Golf is positioning itself as a valuable marketing partner for golf destinations seeking direct access to the Australian market.

"We provide international destinations with a highly targeted print and online platform that reaches club golfers around Australia who have both the desire and the financial capacity to travel," Arthur said.

"Unlike broad consumer travel media, every reader of Inside Golf already has a proven interest in golf travel. That makes our audience incredibly valuable for golf resorts, golf courses, hotels, tour operators and destination marketing organisations looking to generate awareness and bookings."

Arthur believes Australia remains one of the world's most attractive outbound golf travel markets.

"Australians love to travel, golfers love to explore new courses and experiences, and we're proud to be helping connect our readers with some of the world's most exciting golf destinations."

Inside Golf welcomes enquiries from golf courses, resorts, hotels, golf tour operators and tourism organisations interested in promoting their destinations to Australia's largest dedicated golf audience.
